
Jonathan A. Moo
Jonathan A. Moo (PhD, University of Cambridge) is the Bruner-Welch Endowed Chair in Theology and professor of New Testament and environmental studies at Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington. He holds graduate degrees in both wildlife ecology and biblical studies and has written a number of articles and books on the understanding of nature in early Judaism and Christianity and on environmental ethics. His books include Let Creation Rejoice: Biblical Hope and Ecological Crisis (IVP) and Creation Care: A Biblical Theology of the Natural World (Zondervan). He has worked extensively with the Faraday Institute for Science and Religion in Cambridge (UK), whose work he continues to support as President of the Friends of Faraday in the USA, and he serves on the board of the Christian conservation organization, A Rocha USA. His current research is focused on the New Testament book of Revelation.
