Gregory Adaka

Gregory Adaka is the Medical Director of the Correctional Health Services (CHS) of Miami-Dade County, in Florida. CHS is part of The Jackson Health System where he’d previously worked as an Attending Physician in Emergency Medicine. Before relocating to the United States, he was a Consultant in Emergency Medicine in the UK. In the UK  a “Consultant” is a specialist attending physician at the most senior level.

Dr. Adaka is a subject matter expert in Medicine and the Healthcare industry, both in the United States & the United Kingdom. A man of faith as well as a man of science, he possesses a deep respect for the scientific method. Yet, he has an impressive grasp of the most controversial Socio-political issues. He is one of those rare communicators that have the ability to explain complex ideas in the simplest terms – always with an appropriate dash of humour!
